Mid-week Man Candy

Well, with Katy in Georgia for Thanksgiving, Man Candy duties fall to me again. Hence Man Candy is a little late.


This week's Man Candy is Bradley Cooper. Actually, as with most people who were on Alias, I usually refer to him by his character's name - Will Tippin. Oh, Will Tippin, the hottest fake journalist on TV. I was so sad after he got betrayed by fake Francie and had to go into witness protection. He came back twice, but it just wasn't the same. Bradley Cooper also played supporting roles in a lot of movies I haven't seen or didn't like and starred in the show Kitchen Confidential, which quite deservedly got canceled after four episodes. But despite all that, I will love Will Tippin forever.

Mid-week Man Candy

This week's Man Candy is Seth Meyers, SNL head writer and Weekend Update anchor. Some people say SNL is not as funny as it used to be. I say, shut up, yes it is. Three things I love about Seth Meyers: he's funny, he's cute and he loves the Red Sox. I tried to find a video of the Point/Counterpoint he did with Derek Jeter ("Jeter, you suck in three very specific ways: So hard, so bad and wicked bad"), but there isn't one. Also, I don't think Katy would have appreciated it.

Side note: Seth Meyers also appeared briefly in "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," which stars Michael Cera, one of only two people Katy has banned from Man Candy (the other is the enemy QB who shall not be named). I was going to go rogue and post a picture of Michael Cera instead this week, but then I told Katy I was going to do it, which kind of ruined the surprise. But trust me, I'll sneak him into the blog somehow.

Spam alert

I (Katy) have coined a new term. Recently, I have taken up the hobby of sending my dearest friend and fellow blogger both pictures and videos of my beloved Matt Ryan. I now term this Matt Ryan Spaming. Really clever, eh? The bottom line is...I think she's caving. So on that note...



Say what you will about him, he is the real deal and I have loved him from the start. He even helped me beat Jamie in fantasy this week. Very nice. Oh yea, and I would like to be referred to as Katy Ice from now on. Thanks.

Here's to you, Anderson Cooper. Your brooding news broadcast makes watching CNN an most enjoyable experience. Your salt and pepper hair and boyish smile can make even the gloomiest report more bearable. You also make funny comments about how there is no way a crazy looking poodle can be First Dog. So bravo, Anderson.

Here's to you, Graham Harrell. You are pretty foxy on the field, throwing all sorts of touchdowns and such. Too bad when you open your mouth, you sound like Daniel Boone would have, but that can be avoided. Some people are just good looking and good at what they do. Pretty lucky, eh? Hope this doesn't curse you...we'd both feel really bad.
